I’m Kantaro from Osaka, Japan. I study biology at Kyoto University. I’ve been interested in Polish culture and people, and 3 years ago, I spent some time in Kraków during student exchange. Poland has wonderful and interesting culture, nature, history and above all, people! In 10 months of my stay in Kraków, I really fell in love with Poland! I want more Japanese to get interested in Poland. That's why I joined JPSC as an organizer. I hope to see you soon!

Tokyo University of Foreign Studies / 東京外国語大学
Hi everyone! I’m studying Polish language and culture. I’ve been playing piano since I was 4 years old and I love Chopin very much. In the future, I'd like to introduce Polish music culture to the world, by becoming an interpreter or a translator. I participated in JPSC 2021 and that experience highly motivated me to pursue my future dream. I wanted to give something back to the JPSC organizers for giving me such a wonderful opportunity, and that’s why I decided to join the team. Why don’t we work together to improve the relationship between Japan and Poland?

I major in Polish language and culture, and I was looking for opportunity to work with Polish people as a part of an international exchange activity. I participated in JPSC 2021 and thought that next time, I would like to create valuable experience for the participants as one of the organizers – that’s why I joined the rest of the team. My hobbies include watching baseball and horror movies, playing French horn and visiting World Heritage Sites.

I love learning Japanese and Kumamoto City, where I spent a year as a student. It was an unforgettable experience and I’ve been trying to come back there to stay ever since. For now life has other plans for me, but I decided to help organize JPSC this year, because I wanted to feel close to Japan and Japanese people again. I hope you enjoy our event!
